National Service Volunteer Scheme

The Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE) recommended the scheme, aimed at

• Providing opportunities to motivated students to serve as fellow men especially in the rural areas on full time basis.
• They involve in activities like assisting single teacher at primary schools, organizing literacy out of school education programmes, sports and cultural activities, mobile library services, improvement in health and sanitation and agricultural extension schemes.
