Rhythm through continuous line movement

Compositions that show rhythm through continued line are likely to be made of curves mostly. It may be in a suggestion of a continuous line, occasionally having breaks in the line but gaps that are small enough so the eye still carries over to the next section of the line in a rhythmical manner (Fig.5.13). Examples of rhythmical line movement are also found in nature as in growth rings of a tree trunk, grain lines in a plank of wood.
