3.3.12 Alignments

To change a text into left alignment select align left tool in tool bar or select Ctrl+L or select left option in paragraph option in Format menu.

To change a text into right alignment select align right tool in tool bar or select Ctrl+R or select right option in paragraph option in Format menu.

To change a text into centre alignment select centre tool in tool bar or select Ctrl+E or select centre option in paragraph option in Format menu.

Setting margins and tabs: Using ruler we can set paragraph margin, left margin, right margin, and tabs. Tabs can also be set using Tab option in Format menu and margins (paragraph, left, right) also be set using paragraph option in Format menu or drag the left ,right and paragraph mark on the ruler.

1. Select Tab option in Format menu or set tab stop position directly on ruler.
2. Type the tab stop position in the text box and press set button.
3. Default Tab setting 0.5"
4. To clear all the tab stop position select clear all button on the tab dialog box and to clear the desire tab stop position select clear button on the tab dialog box.
5. In a document we can set many tab settings.
