Fencing

• Fences have a specific function as well as beauty.
• Fences are a utility item essentially needed for making the boundary and for protection.
• Fences are sometimes used to separate one part of the garden from the other.
• Several materials such as wood, bamboo, wire, wire nettings, and chain link fences may be used for fencing.




• Most wood fences have their main parts like vertical posts, horizontal rails or stingers and sidings.
• Several sophisticated modern plastic or plywood sheets are used for this purpose.
• There are several kinds of fences like boundary –line fences of post and rail or hurdle-fencing, fences for screening and picket fences.
• The sight of an expanse of fencing can be hidden from view by growing quick growing and elegant creepers.
• Well-designed and attractive fences need very little planting near it.
• Planting on or near fences should be considered carefully.
