Screens

• Screen in a garden is a type of fence structure used to screen or divide an area.
• Screens ensure privacy and shelter, provide protection from the wind and sun, and create an illusion of quiet by visually keeping out sources of noise


• Screens can create outdoor rooms by defining and separating different activity areas.
• It can also become a decorative element in the landscape as a backdrop or a support for plants or artwork
• Horizontal and vertical framings are used for making screens.
• These framings may hold panels of wood, lath, glass, fiberglass, acrylic or may support canvas, reed , bamboo, or even decorative rope-work
