    Damage
    • The caterpillar infests the leaves and causes defoliation.
    Bionomics
    • The adult moth is brownish black in colour.
    • The female lays eggs singly on leaves.
    • The incubation period is 3-4 days.
    • The larva is green and takes 12-14 days to become full grown.
    • It pupates in a cocoon for 13 days.
