  1. Malting is a traditional method of food processing. It produces fall in viscosity of gruels.
  2. It has nutritional benefit. It is used in formulation of low cost weaning foods of low viscosity and high calorie density.
  3. Roasted puffed grains can be used as snack after spicing
  4. Roasted powdered product is mixed with water to be used as a drink.

The small millet flours are blended with wheat flour for preparing very good quality cookies, biscuits and muffins.
