Financial Assistance for Children Especially under Difficult Circumstances

Under the scheme financial assistance is extended to the children of ex-Devadasis, ex-prostitutes and prisoners and to the children of women who are the victims of atrocities, for continuing education the financial assistance will be given to the girls till the age of 20 and boys till the age of 18.

The details of financial assistance provided under scheme is as follows:

  1. I and II std. Rs.50/- for ten months (Children of Devadasis and children of women victims of atrocities only)
  2. III and IV std. Rs. 75/- for ten months (Children of Devadasis and children of women who are the victim of atrocities only)
  3. V to VII std. Rs. 100/- p.m. for 10 months.
  4. VIII to X Std. Rs. 150/- p.m. for 10 months
  5. X Std. onwards Rs. 300/- p.m. for 10 months.

The school Headmaster should certify that the student has passed in the previous class and is continuing the education.
Rs. 17.00 lakhs was provided and 1622 children were given the benefit.
