A bulletin contains a large amount of information. Its primary objective is to give information which the reader can apply to his own local situations. The size of the bulletin varies from 24-40 pages.

Types of bulletin

  1. Popular bulletin: It is to present in the fields of farmers and extension workers.
  2. Technical bulletin: It designed to present specific material to those working in specified fields.

Preparation of bulletin

    1. Bulletin should be attractive to see use direct style in writing. It should be simple, direct, clear and convincing. Be clear, precise and definite.
    2. Have short paragraph and mention important information in the first. Plan and prepare about the fact, their coordination, adoption, interpretation and application.
    3. Insert suitable pictures depicting action. A pen sketches and photos are to be prepared over graph and tables.
    4. Make an appealing cover with colour, symbol and illustrations should be appropriate to the subject discussed.
    5. Have number of sub heads, Use colour for attractiveness. Use suitable type of letterings.
