6.2.7.5 Silkworm toxins(Sekoke)

There is destruction of the endocrine pancreatic islets of langer thans, concomitant lipid infiltration of parenchymatous organs, bilateral cataract, and degenerative alterations to the extrinsic eye muscles. Sekoke is now rare, as pelleted diets have gradually replaced the more traditional carp diets.
