Observation of social development of infants (7-12 months)
Introduction: Child recognizes familiar objects and persons and indicates preferences clearly. He has a desire to go out, so taking the child outdoors to enjoy thus surroundings is important. Imitation behavior is also very high in this period. Create appropriate situations to express his positive emotions, provide comfortable situations to meet people and visit places to overcome stranger anxiety. The child should be helped to develop a strong sense of security and care giver should assure the child her presence, love and care to avoid separation anxiety.
Aim: To understand the social development of infants in the age range of 6-12 months.
Objectives:
To develop the skill to observe the social development of infants in the age range of 6-12 months.
