• The Spices Board encourages non-governmental organisations and farmers' groups to promote and adopt organic farming techniques.
  
• Infrastructure development for production of organic input is underway in prominent growing areas.
  
• The development of vermi-compost units and the supply of post-harvest aids for upgrading the quality of the produce at the farm level are also in progress.
