Is whitish yellow in colour with course grainy texture, widely produced in India.
Process:
- It is prepared by mixing three parts of dhap (evaporated) khoa with one part of sugar.
- It is heated in a pan over low fire till the mixture forms cylindrical shape.
- The mixture is stirred thoroughly and rolled by hand into round shapes of approximately 20 gms.
- Some manufactures use permitted colours . In kesar pedha saffron is added.
