Gulab jamun

It is cylindrical in shape , dark brown in color and with firm and smooth texture and always soaked in sugar syrup.

Process:

  • It is prepared by mixing desiccated khoa with small amount of maida and baking powder.
  • Kneading the mixture into dough, which is then rolled into small balls .
  • Deep fried in ghee in a shallow pan to get brown color.
  • Then put into solution of sixty per cent sugar content for 3 hours and then served.
