Dharwad pedha

Dharwad pedha is dark brown in colour unlike the other pedhas.
- It has a soft but firm cohesive body and granular texture.
- The pedha is round to elliptical in shape.
- The desired level of browning imparts characteristic flavor, texture and longer shelf life to the product, this brings uniqueness to the product.
- Another unique step in production is coating of powdered sugar on the surface of pedhas.
