Dharwad pedha

Dharwad pedha is dark brown in colour unlike the other pedhas.

  1. It has a soft but firm cohesive body and granular texture.
  2. The pedha is round to elliptical in shape.
  3. The desired level of browning imparts characteristic flavor, texture and longer shelf life to the product, this brings uniqueness to the product.
  4. Another unique step in production is coating of powdered sugar on the surface of pedhas.
