Learning is a process by which a person becomes changed in his behaviour through self activity. It is a processing progressive behaviour adaptation.

Characteristics of learning

  • Learning is grown like and continuous
  • It should be purposeful
  • It involves appropriate activity by learners
  • It must be challenging and satisfying
  • It must result in functional understanding
  • Individual variation exact in their learning ability

Learning (J.P. Guilford) : Learning is any change in behaviour resulting from behaviour. Typically learning consists of doing something now provided this something new is refacried by the individual and reappears in his later activities.

Garrett: Learning is that activity by institute of which use organise our responses with new habits.

R.S. to cod worth: Learning of a new act is an addition to the person’s store of experiences. Reinforcement too is an indispensable element in the act of learning because it helps forming only successful responses and weeding the unsuccessful ones.
