United Nations Fund for Drug Abuse Control (UNFDAC)

The United Nations Fund for Drug Abuse Control and the division of Narcotic Drugs have published a comprehensive report on "Children and Drugs" for IYC, as well as varied media materials on "Freedom from drug dependence: a child's right." Also supported •• special IYC project focusing on the determination of the incidence of drug abuse and addiction among children in Malaysia, on the hazards & and advisability of using amphetamine-type drugs in the therapeutical management of hyperactive children, and on the various behavioural and patho-physiological effects on the foetus of opiate addiction in the mother.
