World Food Council (WFC)

The World Food Council has augmented its activities for children in the line with the 1978 Mexico Declaration, launching major campaigns to prevent vitamins a deficiency and endemic goitre as part of national lye activities, and encouraging government to pay special attention to malnutrition, the development of local food-stuffs and supplementary feeding programmes in the context of lye and in future national rural development goals.
