World Food Programme (WFP)

The World Food Programme has worked out a long-term strategy directed at especially vulnerable groups such as nursing mothers and pre-school children for nutrition rehabilitation, long-term intervention aimed to socio-economically deprived groups of children facing meddler degrees of malnutrition, and enhanced supplementary feeding programmes which ensure that rations intended for young children and expectant or nursing mothers are not consumed by other family members.
