1.7.3.Types of Social problems

Case (1964) has given four types of social problems on the basis of their origin. They are

(i) Which are rooted in some aspect of the physical environment

(ii) Which are involved in the native or distribution of the popularities involved

(iii) Which result from poor social organisation

(iv) Which evolve from a conflict of cultural valves with in the society
