Pruning saws

Pruning saws of different types are used for severing thick branches which are difficult to prune by other pruning aid. Usually woody stems of more than 2.5 cm thick are removed through pruning saw. The commonly available pruning saws include general-purpose pruning saw, rigid-handle curved saw, double-edged saw, folding and bow saws. Thin-curved saw is a useful implement for pruning roses.
