Accordion Pleats

Accordian pleats have been named because these spread out in the shape of an accordian fold when draped. These are pleats made on straight length-wise grain of the fabric one on top of the other. These are pressed in by steam. The lower edge of the material is finished and then passed to the commercial pleater, as this can be done only by a commercial pleating processor.
