4.7.2 Economic barriers
High cost on establishment, inputs (as in the case of aquaculture) and non-availability of adequate institutional credit are some of the important economic barriers. Besides these, constraints in marketing as experienced in ornamental fish culture, freshwater prawn farming and value added fish produces is another important economic barriers to diffusion. |
