4.2.1 Introduction

Communication has been related to various subjects. Among them, there are psychology,sociology, journalism etc. Due to its relation with the various subjects, scientists have presented the different models of the communication keeping in mind the situations of their own fields. This means that the model is a map that shows the relationship to the related subjects of an event by signal which helps in understanding an event.

In Social Sciences, model  is  a tentative description of a social process often in diagrammatic form depicting how the various elements of the social process relate to each other.
