2.2.5 Phone call 

It is a contact between the extension worker and farmer over the telephone for one or more specific purposes connected with the extension.

Merits

1. Initiation will be easy either by the farmers or the extension worker.

2. It provides good will and creates proper human relations.

3. They are useful in giving specific information.

4. Time saving, quick and cheap method.

Demerits

1. Face to face contact is absent.

2. Difficult to understand practical problems, sometimes, when explained over phone.
