2.6.3. Exhibition 

An exhibition is a systematically planned display of specimens, models, charts, posters, information, etc. in a sequence. Exhibitions are conducted in order to create interest among the people, to make them aware and understand about the latest know -how, to create desire to learn and to provide the information to take decisions. Use local materials as far as possible since specimens from the locality will have a greater significance. Exhibitions can be used for a wide range of topics such as improved home living, model villages, feeding practices, pond construction, product promotion and trade and display of best material in the community, etc. Specimens are the real objects taken out of their natural settings. A model is a recognizable imitation or replies of the original, whether workable or not, and whether differing or not from the organized in size, model are useful to get over the disadvantages in the size of the organized thing, to get over the physical inaccessibility of certain things and to make the past or future visible real. Models may be working or non-working. A mock-up is a working model. In exhibition look exhibits and displays are used. Exhibits tend to use more of three dimensional materials while displays are mostly two dimensional (flat) materials. Fairs and festivals are usually taken advantage for arranging exhibitions.
