2.3.1 Result Demonstration
“Result demonstration is a demonstration conducted by farmers, homemakers or other persons under direct supervision of an extension worker to prove the worthiness of a recommended practice or combination of practices”. Result demonstration is an educational test to prove the advantages of recommended practices over the existing practices and to demonstrate their applicability to the local conditions. It is conducted by a farmer under the direct supervision of an extension worker. It is designed to teach others, in addition to the person who conducts the demonstration. It helps the farmers to learn by seeing and doing. |
