2.3.1.1 Purposes of Result Demonstration 

• To prove that the new practice is superior to the one currently being used in means of the advantages, applicability and profitability,
• To persuade the clientele to try the new practice,
• To set up a long term teaching situation, and
• To establish the confidence of the farmer in the extension worker and the extension agency.
