2.5.1.3 Lecture 

Lecture is the most commonly used method and is the best method for presenting the information to large number of persons in a short period of time. Its weakness is that it is a one way communication method. The range of subjects that can be covered by this method is unlimited. It has the advantage of large group communication . In extension, lecture method is widely used when it is necessary to cover a large quantity of information in a given time / at the time of initiating the new programme to arouse interest / for giving factual information / when providing a common background of information as a basis for further study/ to supplement other methods, etc.
