Anatomy

  • In Latin, Ana means ‘as under’ and Tamnein means ‘ to cut’
  • It is the study of internal structure and organization of organisms, especially of their parts and the relationship between the parts by means of dissection and microscopic examination.
  • Morphology (External anatomy) is a branch of biology dealing with the study of the external features of organisms.
