Introduction

  • In fishes, the blood circulates through a well defined tubular system of heart and vessel. The heart pumps toward gills for oxygenation through aortic arches arterial blood is distributed to various parts of the body. The venous blood from the body after passing through the kidney and the liver returns to the heart. Arterial system carries blood away from the heart, however, venous system towards it.
