5.2.2 Menu Options

File menu is used to type a new document, opening a document, saving a document, printing a document, etc.

Edit menu is used for Cut, Copy, Paste, clear, find and replace, creating book marks, etc.

Insert menu is used for inserting page breaks, date/time, symbols, document, pictures, etc.

Format menu is used for formatting text such as Font, Paragraph setting, tab setting s, changing case, bullets and numbering.

Tools menu option is used for spelling check, grammar, word count, mail merging, recording macros, etc

Table menu is used for manipulating tables such as inserting and deleting rows and columns, sorting rows, appl ying formulas in tables etc.

New (Ctrl+N) is used to create a new document. Open (Ctrl+O) is used to open an existing document. Save (Ctrl+S) is used to save the current document. Save As to save current document in another name. Close option close the cu rrent document. Save All option saves the entire opened document.
