5.4.28 Auto Fill

Auto fill is one the efficient filling tools available in excel. Some auto filling series are predefined and user can also define his own auto filling series.

E.g. For Auto fill Series are

1. Jan, Feb, .... or January, February, ......
2. Item1, Item2, Item3, .....
3. Any user defined list

First type series are predefined and they can be filled as follows

1. Type the first item and block the cells
2. Select Fill option in Edit menu and choose Series option
3. Select Auto fill option. Step value is not needed.

Second type series can be filled without defining the list

1. Type the first element and block the cells
2. Select Fill option in Edit menu and choose Series option
3. Select Auto fill option. Step value is not needed.
