5.2.34 Creating Table

Table is a rows and columns containing boxes of text or graphics. These boxes are called as cells. Within each cell, text wraps between the borders of a cell.

1. Move the insertion point at the desired location
2. Select Insert table option in Table menu.
3. Specify the number of rows and columns for the table.
4. Move the insertion point to first cell and type the text
5. Press tab key for moving to the next column or row

Adjusting width of the columns and rows ( Method 1 )

1. Position the pointer on the grid of the column or row
2. Drag the grid line to change the width of that column or row

Method 2

1. Select Cell Width / Row height in Table menu
2. Give the desired width and height for the cells.
