Deep crown

 

Loose horizontal folds across the crown of the, sleeve indicate that the crown is too deep.

Pin a pleat across the crown until the folds disappear. Draw a pleat of the same size and in the same position on the sleeve pattern, and fold out the pleat. Re-cut the sleeve from the new pattern.

Remember that this will decrease the length of the sleeve head and it may be necessary to decrease the size of the armhole to correspond, by raising he base of the armhole.
